Right now I just run through a DOD equalizer and I'm using Calkwalk. it works quite well for right now. My guitar amp has a voiced line out so that helps.

As of now I use my Digitech RP350 and Ardour, which is a Freeware program for Linux. Really hi-tech and most of all free! :D

Does Ardour really work or are you using Audacity?

Yes Ardour did really work. As of now Linux is not working on my computer, the last recording I did was using audacity. audacity=lame.

Waiting with anticipation. I really am curious if it could be considered a useful recording setup, maybe almost professional.
